Bloom retreats

hannah’s B&B is a beautiful, tranquil and luxurious hideaway in Central Winchester. It’s peaceful setting and calm interior lends perfectly to the practice of Yoga and is the ideal environment for a retreat setting.

Bloom Retreats invite you to spend the day harmonising with your body, mind and soul.Through the practices of Yoga, Yamuna Body Rolling and Meditation combined with the most deliciously prepared food and drink you will leave your everyday life at the door. This time and space will reenergise you and allow you to leave feeling revived, inspired and uplifted.

All yoga classes are led and taught by Gemma Nash, the founder of Blossom Yoga and a mother of 4. She is an expert in the pursuit and education of balance – managing a love and passion for teaching yoga, a business and a busy family life. Gemma is experienced, intuitive and inspiring. Having been a yoga teacher for 13 years and a practitioner for 17 years, she has helped hundreds of students to fall in love with the practice and continues to build a beautiful yoga community in Winchester.

Hannah McIntyre the founder of hannah’s b&b has a quest to feed your soul with the most delicious and nutritious food, providing a perfectly balanced and divinely tasty menu for the day. Creatively led by her travels and with an ability to effortlessly marry flavours, her dishes leave everyone satisfied and inspired! All ingredients are clean, healthy and hearty as well as being vegetarian and free from unnatural sugars, gluten and dairy.

What are Yin and Yamuna mornings

A transformative morning combining the practices of Yin Yoga and Yamuna Body Rolling, for powerful and profound release as well as deep relaxation for your body and mind. Each time we will focus on a different Chakra, working from root to crown.

Gemma opens with a Yamuna sequence following the Yamuna lines that work closest to or around each area associated with each individual Chakra. Hannah then chooses the Yin postures that compliment the pathways already opened as well as having their own unique process too.

Practice time 2 hours 45 minutes inclusive of tea and raw treat upon arrival at 9.30am. The morning closes at 12.30. All mats, equipment and balls for total relaxation (and restoration) are provided.

 
 

Workshops with Gemma

 

2 hour Saturday Morning Yoga and/or Yamuna Workshops run throughout the year, usually once a month.

They are a chance to explore or practice with a specific focus. Whether you are new to Yoga or Yamuna Body Rolling or an experienced practitioner each workshop offers the opportunity to gain insight, inspiration and to explore something new.

Today, like every other day, we wake up empty and frightened. Don’t open the door to the study and begin reading. Take down a musical instrument.
